Adopted: Naia, an 11 month old Female Chocolate Labrador, has found her furever home.
Here is a Bio from her foster family……..
"Naia is a sweet, active total love bug. Naia has not had any accidents in our house and will let you know when she has to go outside. She gets along well with other dogs and loves playing with her foster brother and sister. She knows basic command of sit, shake and lay down, but is a very quick learner. She is learning to walk on a leash and loves going on rides. While she is learning to stay in the kennel, she prefers being out around people. She does have a little separation anxiety, but she's improving daily as she gets more familiar. She is a grazer with her food and eats a little better while in her kennel. Naia loves to jump up and give hugs, but we are working with her to not jump. Naia loves kids and I know she will be an amazing addition to any home."
Adopted: Gryphon, a 7 year old Silver Male Labrador, who is looking for his forever home.
Here is a Bio from his foster family……..
"Gryphon is an active, friendly 7 year old. Likes to go on daily walks or jogs, and rides well in a car. Likes to swim, run and play fetch. He gets along with other dogs and is curious about cats but gets along with them. He is comfortable in a kennel but he needs to be exercised daily to get out his energy. He has a little separation anxiety, but is getting better in a stable place. Gryphon is a grazer; his food can be left out and he eats only when hungry. He put his paws on counters a few times but learning quickly not to jump up. Gryphon will make a great companion for an active family that has the time and attention to build his confidence."
Adopted: Dolce, a 2.5 year old Male Chocolate Labrador, has found his forever home.
Here is a Bio from his foster family……..
"Dolce is a very sweet and affectionate boy. He's very smart, knows the dog door, good on leash, and gets along well with our dogs and cats. He is really focused on being around humans, exhibiting signs of separation anxiety. We're working on his kennel training, to teach him he's still safe and secure even if humans aren't around. He's a very happy, playful boy, but will need time, patience and continued structure to relive the anxiety.
Dolce would do best in home where there is a continued commitment to kennel training, positive reinforcement and patience. At this time, we do not suggest meeting Dolce if he will be left alone for long periods of time in the home, as he will most likely regress from his training. Dolce will make a great companion for an active, involved family committed to helping grow out of the anxiety."
Adopted: Ruby, a 3 year old Black Female Labrador, has found her forever home.
Here is a Bio from her foster family……..
"Ruby is a rambunctious 3 year old. She is very affectionate & loves attention. She bonded quickly & follows me around the house. She was quick to learn how to use doggie door & knows basic commands "sit" & "down". We're working on "leave it" & "stay", but she hasn't mastered those 2 yet. She is good on walks, but tends to pull so she will need additional leash training. She gets very excited when meeting new people & tends to jump, so she needs some training in that area. Ruby is a very sweet girl & with a bit more training she will be a loyal & loving companion."
Adopted: Bella, a 3 year old Black Female Labrador, has found her forever home.
Here is a Bio from her foster family……..
"Bella is a sweet, affectionate Lab. She's very focused on being with people, and warms up quickly. Bella loves to go exploring as much as she loves to cuddle on the couch with you. She needs some training with walks, but she's smart and eager to please. Bella needs to lose a few pounds as well, as she is VERY food focused. Bella rides great in a car, is house-trained, goes into her crate with ease and sleeps through the night. Bella will make an excellent companion for the right family, she is incredibly loving with her humans."
Please read before submitting a meet request:
Bella needs to be the only animal in a home. While she does great with dogs her size at day care, she does not like small animals. We feel it's best for her to be the only pet in a home. If you have other pets, please do not request to meet Bella.
Adopted: Randy, a 1 year old Black Male Labrador, found his forever home.
Here is a Bio from his foster family……..
"Randy is a joy! He's very curious and playful. He likes chasing leaves as they fly down the street on the wind, and intently watching birds flying. He is also a big cuddler but like most pups, he craves stimulation, exercise and new experiences. If left unoccupied too long, he will find inappropriate new things to chew, such as shoes or a book from a bookcase he can reach. But with 2-3 sessions of 10 minutes each throughout the day to run, play fetch and practice commands, Randy and a tennis ball become best friends, and he ignores the off-limits temptations in his world.
He follows me around the house all the time, and when I am working or otherwise sitting in one place, he's happy to curl up and hang out – mostly because he’s tired!
He is quite good at entertaining himself and uses the doggie door to do his business and to go for solo back yard strolls to investigate new things. He's learning that his chew toys are more fun than backyard sticks and twigs. He pulls a bit at the start of his leash walks, but then settles down nicely. Apples and carrots are his favorite post-training treats. He is gentle when accepting them from my hand, and eats his meals nicely as well.
Randy gets along well with my 2 other Labs, and quickly learned the pack hierarchy or our home. He sleeps in his bed through the night, is good going into crate. He knows SIT, STAY, NO, and DOWN, but DOWN needs more practice and reinforcement, as he sometimes struggles to control his exuberance when meeting new people. He's strong and can be a bit like a bull in a china shop!
He’ll thrive in a home with a pack leader who will provide training to help him understand the rules and boundaries of good behaviour, love and affection so that he can bond with his new pack, and lots of exercise to keep him occupied and calm while he grows through his puppyness into the great Labrador that's just starting to emerge. Randy's energy is high at this age, but quick to learn what's expected of him.
Families with small children or older dogs should consider whether a young, powerful, rambunctious dog is the best match for them, and what processes they will put in place to ensure the safety of their family and pets and that of Randy as well."
Adopted: Buddee, a 4 year old Male Yellow Labrador, has found his forever home.
Here is a Bio from his foster family……..
"Buddee is the perfect name for this gentle giant. He loves to be in your presence and is eager to please. He walks well on a leash with a few small corrections. He knows how to sit and takes treats gently with an open palm. He retrieves tennis balls and most the time will drop it at your feet so you’ll toss it again. He knows how to use a doggy door, and will go in the crate with some coaxing, although it’s not his favorite thing. We are working on this with him. He is tolerant of our energetic German Shepherd and he likes to playfully chase the birds in our yard. We don’t have cats, so I am not sure how he would react to them. He will be a good companion for someone looking for a big, active dog."
We have a wonderful Happy Tail for Kuna (formerly Harley):
" Update on Luna (formerly Harley) who came into my life Dec. 1 2017 (3 years today!) Over the last few years we’ve been on many adventures together! She’s my best buddy and companion! She’s loyal and ever so loving! She loves her daily walks to the park! She loves them so much in fact I’m sure she’d walk there herself if I’d let her! She enjoys our adventures to star nursery, her naps, rides in the car and most of all our hiking and beach adventures! She is so expressive with her looks. Her puppy eyes get me every time and she sure knows how to use them! I can’t imagine a life without my sweet Lunes! She is loved to the moon and back! 🌙 "

Adopted: Meilong (pronounced "May-Ling"), a 3 year old Black Female Labrador, has found her forever home.
Here is a Bio from her foster family……..
"Meilong is definetely a people dog, she wants to be in with you as much as possible. She is always close by, and likes to sleep in the bed. She is fairly calm as far as not a lot of barking except when she first meets people. Meilong does get timid around new people at first, but does warm up once she feels safe. She does well with other dogs and during her stay here she's been around quite a few. She knows sit and down. She's not an aggressive eater at all. Initially I tried feeding her separately a couple times a day but she would not eat. I have been just free feeding her and she has been fine. She doesn't even beg for food when I'm eating. She will go in the crate if I just open the door and give her the command. Took her a couple days to catch onto the doggie door but she has not had any accidents in the house. I have not had her around kids or cats. Meilong will make a wonderful companion for a family willing to be a little patient as she get comfortable in a new environment."
Adopted: Cash, a 2 year old Black Male Labrador, found his forever home.
Here is a Bio from his foster family……..
"Cash is a sweet handsome boy who just wants to be loved as much as he loves you. He gives lots of kisses and likes to be close. We are working on the basic commands but he will need training. He has lots of energy, but hasn't been taught manners. He is great on the leash when out walking and he is great with other dogs. He uses the doggie door with no problem. He doesn’t like going into the kennel but once you get him in there he is okay. Cash will make a great family pet for the family that will give him the love he deserves."
Adopted: Kingsley, a 5 month old Male Yellow Labrador, has found his forever home.
Here is a Bio from his foster family……..
"Kingsley is all puppy, which means he's short on manners! While he is happy, sweet and loving, he has not had the proper guidance and training a puppy of his age should have been exposed to, and needs help breaking some inappropriate behaviors. He has lots of energy, loves to jump on you and counter surf, and is typically mouthy, with everything and anything being fair game. Kingsley is mischievous and playful, and needs to be directed to when he's in full puppy mode. In his 'toddler' stage, he takes 'no' as a chance to play, and loves the attention. Kingsley is very smart, and absolutely looking to be taught how to behave. We are working on crate training, and he sleeps well through the night. However, he can be vocal when crated alone, preferring to be with the humans. We're working on building up his confidence for crating alone, but it is a work in progress, and it will take time. He is doing great with potty training, as we reinforce the postive behavior with routine trips outside. Kingsley is doing well around our older dogs, looking to play, but respecting their space when they don't want to. Kingsley will need an experienced, patient family to teach him proper behavior and help him grow into the dog he is meant to be. He needs time, love and consistent training to teach him proper manners, boundaries, and expectations. We strongly urge any family with small children possibly interested in Kingsley to consider the implications of bringing in a mouthy, energetic puppy before requesting a meet & greet. Kingsley needs a little more work than normal, but we are confident with the right committed family, he will quickly grow into a fantastic companion."
Adopted: Moose, a 1.5-year-old Black Male Labrador, found his forever home.
Here is a Bio from his foster family……..
"Moose is a wonderful paradox of a Lab. He has all the exuberance of a 2 year old, running gleefully through the back yard and chasing tennis balls. But he is equally happy resting on the patio and pondering the grass. At dinner time, he tries hard to see if there's a morsel coming his way, - he's ALL Lab! - but as soon as he realizes there isn't, he again just lies down and relaxes. No begging, no drooling. Same thing when I leave the house. No whining, no reign of destruction. He just lies in the kitchen on the cool tile and waits by the door. After dinner his favorite thing is to get up on the sofa and curl up under my arm, with his head on my lap... or my shoulder! Moose is self-confident - happy to play with a toy and keep himself entertained. He barks only when appropriate, takes a treat gently from your hand, and eats his meals slowly. He gets along great with my dogs. Dont know about cats, and I haven't had a chance to see how he is with small children. He doesnt chew anything but his toys, and is way more interesting in being with his pack and knowing what they're doing, than getting into mischief by himself. The pack is important to Moose. His name is appropriate as he is a big Moose who doesnt know his own strength. We're working on commands, and he knows Stay, No, Off, and Ah (like no). But he needs practice to do them consistently. He also needs leash training as he pulls, and he's strong. Moose will make a great addition to an active family who will give him the training, love, boundaries and exercise he needs. He will give back 100 times what you give him and love you forever."
Some medical background on Moose for transparency: Moose has been with LVLR for over 2 months, as we waited for him to heal from an abscess on his side. While the abscess was treated quickly and easily, he developed seroma (https://www.vetinfo.com/seroma-after-surgery-care-for-dogs.html) around the infected site. Seromas are simply fluid build up, and Moose took a little longer than most dogs to have it fully drained and absorbed naturally. Our vet sees no long term issues from the abscess, he's very healthy and recovered.
Here is a great happy tail for Maggie (formerly Scout)...and a good reminder that it might take some time, training, and adjustment (and not just from your lab) for them to reach their potential 🙂
"I am happy to say this is a very happy tail after I almost gave up on Maggie(formerly Scout). I adopted Maggie in Oct 2019. After some jitters and training for us both, Maggie has been the best adventure buddy and companion. Maggie went on a road trip with me for two months winning hearts among family and friends. She has learned to socialize with dogs but still has some reservations with certain dogs. Her best pal is Sadie the pit bull. Her goofy bark is endearing. She is a love and is always at my feet or relaxing on the couch when not out adventuring. Say Hi if ever out on the trails or on the water!"

I adopted Ginger from Las Vegas Lab Rescue in November of 2019 and I am so glad that I did! I haven’t even had her for a full year yet, but I could not imagine my life without her. At 8.5 years young, she is full of life and personality. She loves swimming, going on walks, and sleeping all day (But as you can see in the pictures she hates wearing things lol). She’s also very smart and has been caught on several occasions getting into her bag of resealable dog food. And she is a PRO at stealing socks lol. Ginger now enjoys her life during quarantine with a sweet pit bull sister, who we rescued from SNARL in April 🙂 I post updates of her on her instagram page @thegingerdogblog ☺️"

Adopted: Bella, a 3 year old, Female Black Labrador, has found her forever home.
Here is a Bio from her foster family……..
"Bella is a sweet well behaved big girl with lots of love to give. She thinks she is a lap dog and likes to be close. She is great with other dogs. She loves going for walks but will need some leash training as she pulls a little bit. She would be good with someone who likes to run. She also likes to play fetch. Bella listens very well, she goes in the kennel with no problem and sleeps through the night without barking or crying. She follows commands pretty good and is very good when getting treats. Bella is going to be a great companion for that very special family. "
Adopted: Sky, a 4.5 year old Black Female Labrador, has found her forever home.
Here is a Bio from her foster family……..
"Sky is one of the sweetest dogs! She is energetic, loves to play and a very smart dog! She is very shy when first meeting her, but quickly warms up. She loves playing with her foster brother and sister. We are working on teaching her basic commands such as sit and shake. She goes in her crate with no problems and sleeps through the night. She is definitely a cuddle bug and loves giving lots of kisses. I believe she would be good in a house with an active family with older kids.
Interested families should be prepared to take some extra time to get to know Sky, she will take longer than normal to become comfortable around new people."
Adopted: Ruger, a 9 month old Male Yellow Labrador, has found his forever home.
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: Ruger came to LVLR with a broken right elbow, a olecranon fracture, and had orthopedic surgery in March. He still has 2 pins in where the break occurred, that will be left there permanently. This does not affect his prognosis, he should go on to have a happy, healthy life. Families interested in Ruger should ask any medical questions of concern via email ([email protected]) before requesting to meet him.
Here is a Bio from his foster family……..
"Ruger has gone through a lot in short life, but after almost 3 months with LVLR in foster care, he's finally becoming his normal self. He's very funny, sweet and weirdly bendy, we call him Noodle! Like all puppies, Ruger is energetic, enthusiastic and happy. He's a voracious eater, and definitely needs to improve his table manners. He's typical puppy mouthy, and shows a lot of prey drive. He's caught a lizard and bird for us, and loves to go stalking our backyard. He's still chewing on things he isn't supposed, but is very smart and learns quickly. Given his injury and recovery, he hasn't been walked on leash much, but he now loves to ride in the car. He does very well with our dogs, making them play with him whether they want to or not. Ruger is house trained, does OK in the crate, and sleeps through the night. He's a very snuggly, loving boy as well, preferring to sleep touching you. Families with smaller children should be cautious in requesting to meet Ruger, as he needs more training to redirect his mouthiness and jumping up. With time, commitment and training, Ruger will make an incredible companion for an active home.
On National Rescue Dog Day, what a perfect celebratory Happy Tail for Bailey!
"When we saw Bailey (formerly Sammy) in October 2018 we knew she was meant to be a part of our family. During our meet and greet she made herself at home right away. We were advised of her size and the need for extreme weight loss and were committed to help her get her active life back. She started her journey at 100 lbs and through diet/exercise over the last 18 months she is now about 60 lbs!
Bailey is the sweetest girl and immediately bonded with our other 2 labs. Her favorite activities are going for rides/outings (she always wants to go), playing in the yard, lots of walks, and snuggling on the couch. Bailey has been a wonderful addition to our family, thank you LVLR!"

Adopted: Daisy, a 10 week old Female Chocolate Labrador, has found her forever home.
Here is a Bio from her foster family……..
***Please read carefully before submitting a meet request for Daisy***
Daisy will need 2-3 follow up appointments with LVLR's veterinarian. The adopting family will be responsible for arranging appointments in the given time frame, and completing required treatment as directed by LVLR or adoption will be rescinded immediately.
"Daisy is a sweet, adorable, playful bundle of puppy love. While still young and learning, Daisy has demonstrated she's very quick to catch on, already responding to commands such as sit, come, kennel. She gets better every day with intermittent crating and sleeping through the night. While Daisy is not 100% house-trained yet, she is doing great with routine trips outside to reinforce positive behavior. Like all puppies her age, Daisy is energetic, mouthy, and needs supervision and training over the next several months. She loves to play with people, and is cautious at first around other dogs. Given Daisy's age, she'll need a family dedicated to continuing her training, teaching her boundaries and expectations, so she grows into the dog she is meant to be. At this age, Daisy is a blank slate, ready and willing to be trained into a fantastic companion dog, with love and support from a committed family. Families with small children should be cautious when considering Daisy, as her puppy behavior (mouthy, bouncy, and playful!) will need to be monitored to ensure a safe environment."
Adopted: Albert, a 1.5 year old Black Male Labrador, has found his forever home.
Here is a Bio from his foster family……..
"Albert still has puppy energy but is as sweet as can be. He gets along well with other dogs and loves people! We have 4 labs and he loves to play and hang out with them all. He is potty trained but does need reminding once in awhile and he walks well on the leash. He sits, gives his paw and then lays down when you give him a treat. He loves to cuddle while we are sitting on the couch. He is such a loving dog and will be very easy to train."
Adopted: Willow, a 6 year old Black Female Labrador, has found her forever home.
Here is a Bio from her foster family……..
"Willow is a very sweet, affectionate Lab. While she does not like the crate, she has gotten better and will only continue to improve with time. She's not destructive but very playful, good on walks. She may need a little work staying on a designated side but does not bark at other dogs or people. She is a velcro dog so will follow you from room to room, wants to sit right next to you, gives kisses. Willow sleeps through the night, does well in the car and uses the doggie door. She is very gentle with treats when she takes them. Willow would make a great companion for anyone looking for a buddy."
Adopted: Silas, a 2 year old Black Male Labrador, has found his forever home.
Here is a Bio from his foster family……..
"Silas is a very happy, energetic lab. He would do great with a family that is active and able to keep up with his activity level. He knows sit and even shake sometimes. He will get attached to you very quickly, and gets very attached to his toys! He is very curious about other dogs, but has not gotten the chance to interact with them since he is practicing good social distancing. He is good on walks, as this is a great way to get his exercise in.
As he is very toy-focused, Silas would do well in a family that introduces him slowly to toys when other dogs are around. He would make a great addition to a family that is looking for a happy, loyal companion."
Adopted Me: Cash, a 5 year old Male Yellow Labrador, found his forever home.
Here is a Bio from Cash's foster family……..
"Cash is an energetic young boy! He gets along well with his foster brother and sister. He is learning new commands and so far he is doing good with sit. He loves going for rides and is learning how to walk on the leash. He is quite the social butterfly and loves meeting people. He is a little hesitant to go into his kennel at night, but once he does, he does pretty good. He has been sleeping through the night. He hasn’t had any accidents in our house and will go to the door to let us know he needs out. Cash likes to jump up and say hello and this is something we are working on with him. So if you have younger children this is something you will need to continue to work with him on. Cash is a very smart boy and picks up commands really quick. He is a handsome boy who loves to play and loves attention. When he is winding down, he loves to snuggle. I believe Cash would do well with an energetic family that loves all the smiles Cash gives. "
We love getting the sweet updates on our former fosters. Here's Charlie's Happy Tail:
"Wow! We can’t believe it’s already been a year since we adopted Charlie. She was so shy and a bit anxious when she arrived. Over the last year we have loved watching her turn into a happy, confident, lap loving dog. She has attended a foundation agility class and a few hiking adventures, but her mission in life seems to be giving love to everyone.🐶😃❤️ What a joy she is!! We are so grateful to the LVLR team for our wonderful girl. Thank you for Charlie & all the dogs you bring to their forever homes. "

What an incredible Happy Tail from the early years of LVLR!
"Hello. I found your Facebook page and thought you might like an update on a dog I adopted from you in November 2007, Gracie.
She is now 13 years old and is starting to slow down. She still loves life and taking lots of naps! She has a chiweenie brother, 2 cat siblings and 3 horse siblings. She has been my constant companion since I adopted her and has had many adventures including moving to Idaho and then back to Nevada.
While I know my time with her is limited, I treasure every day we have with her. Thank you for allowing me to adopt this sweet girl. It was and always will be the best decision I made. ❤️
Thanks again, Carrie"

In April of 2017 we met Penelope. The day she entered our home we knew she was the puppy for us. We waited many years to bring a dog into our home as we were jugging schedules, work commitments and weren’t home on a consistent basis.
Penelope became Pepper, and our lives have been forever changed. She is a loving, curious, enthusiastic dog. Pepper loves everyone, and especially any new friend that will play fetch with her. If there is a ball nearby, Pepper will find it, and drop it at your feet.
Pepper shares our home with our cat, Abbie, who isn’t exactly thrilled by her new sister. Pepper on the other hand always wants to play, and still tries to engage the cat in a variety of shenanigans.
Our swimming pool was basically built for this dog. Our Las Vegas summers are spent swimming, playing ball in the pool, and drying her off.
Pepper loves road trips, and is a great companion. She’s traveled to the beach in Huntington, the mountains in Utah & Lake Tahoe and the snow in Nebraska. She can also be a sophisticated city dog, staying in hotels and visiting our daughters in Los Angeles & Reno.
We hope to rescue another Lab from LV Rescue in a few years, giving the cat another reason to be grumpy. Thank you to all the volunteers and foster parents, you’ve made us very happy.
Ben & Tami"

We're always so incredibly happy to receive Happy Tails like this:
"
We adopted Roxy (formally Saydi) in the summer of 2012 when she was about a year and a half. We decided it was time for a dog since we had a nice yard in our new rental house, although at that point we didn’t have a pool. Due to a cruise we were going on, we almost didn’t get Roxy but apparently she decided we were her people and the stars aligned. In her early years she had 2-3 runs around Rhodes Ranch everyday plus an hour long “chuck it” ball chasing on the golf course but she still had endless energy. Now as an almost 9 year old, a walk down the street suffices before she turns around. She has us wrapped around her paw, when we bought our final house we had to get “a pool for the dog”, yes the realtor looked at us like we were crazy but one of her favorite things is her nightly swims. My husband started out with “no dogs on the furniture” rule, which lasted about 8 months, since he was the one who was always on the floor to be with her. Roxy is unlike any other labby I’ve had. She loves oranges, cucumbers, carrots and most other veggies and fruit. Even though she’s slowed down and her face is more “sugary”, she still has the zoomies, enjoys parties with lots of new friends, and rolling around the floor like a bug. Roxy has fill our life with so much joy and happiness, she is our velcro pup. We are so thankful for the LV Labrador Rescue, it’s been an amazing 7 years!"

Adopted: Marcus, a 3 year old Black Male Labrador, who is looking for his forever home.
Here is a Bio from his foster family……..
Please read carefully the medical info for Marcus.
"Marcus is an absolute sweetheart. He gets along well with his foster brother and sister and loves playing with them. Marcus is a little shy when you first meet him, but he warms up very quick. He has had training before and knows the basic commands sit, shake, stay and down. He hasn’t had any accidents in our house and will go to the door when he needs to go outside. He walks really well on a leash and his favorite thing to do is go on rides. He is a little hesitant to go into the crate, but once he does, he sleeps through the night.
Marcus is a gentle boy who just wants love and I’m sure he will be in his forever home very soon."
Important medical information on Marcus: Marcus had a small mass removed his chest area, which turned out to be a mast cell tumor, low grade, tier 2. The tumor was removed with clean margins, and subsequent blood work, X-rays and ultrasounds revealed there were no other masses or indications that cancer had spread. We understand we cannot predict if another tumor will present itself later, we simply know he's currently tumor free, with great results from the follow up tests.
For potential adopting families that wold like to talk further with our Vet, we're happy to schedule those calls.
Adopted: Rugor, a 5 year old Male Chocolate Labrador, has found his forever home.
Here is a Bio from his foster family……..
Please read carefully the medical information.
"Rugor is doing great in his foster home, getting along well with another dog, sleeps through the night and rides well in a car. He is a sweet, beautiful dog who just wants love and plenty of petting.
Rugor seems to have had some training as he walks really well on a leash, goes into the crate without whining or barking and never makes a peep when in it, understands a few basic commands and wants to please you. Toys seem to be new to him but he’s picking up quickly on fun they can be. He loves his foster sister, wants to play with her more than she might like, but he’s not a barker. And the best part is that he hasn’t had any accidents in the house.
Rugor is a keeper and I’m confident he won’t be looking for his furever home very long.
Important information about Rugor's medical history: when he was younger, he was shot with a small caliber weapon, resulting in vision & hearing damage to his right eye/ear. We do not know the extent of the damage, as he seems to have some slight vision in that eye, but there are no residual implications from the injury. He is healthy otherwise, and a joy to be around."
Here's a beautiful Happy Tail for Jojo (Formerly Josie):
"An update on Jojo. We adopted her September 2017 as a ten month old, today she is 3 years and 1 month old. Jojo is not only the humans companion but she also has become our elderly dog, Gracie's care taker. She wakes Gracie several times a day and motivates her to go outside with her. Even when she was 10 months old, she understood that Gracie was a grumpy old lady and had a respect for her. Gracie has never shared a bed with any dog with the exception of Jojo. The only one habit we can't seem to break from Jojo is her excitement for guests, she wants to greet them with a jump. She spends many days with me in the garden, I have 25 fruit trees and several vegetable beds and there is a lot of activity in the garden from chasing lizards, rabbits, birds, bees and butterflies to carrying thick tree limbs and dragging branches around the yard. She has dog toys and she enjoys playing with them as equally as playing with what nature has to offer her. Thank you Las Vegas Lab Rescue for this wonderful dog! Sylvia and Mark"
