Adopted: Ballen, a 1.5 year old Black Male Labrador, who is looking for his forever home.
Here is a bio from his foster family:
"Ballen is named for Navy Seal Jonathan B. Allen. Ballen is high energy, curious and playful. He gets along well with other dogs and people once he in introduced to them.
Ballen loves to go the dog park and play ball. He will even bring the ball back to you; however, you will have to get it out of his mouth. Ballen does very well on long walks, and hikes in the desert. He is house trained and knows how to use a doggie door and go outside and do his business.
Ballen loves attention, scratches behind his ears, tummy rubs, and back scratches. He walks pretty well on a leash and knows the commands: come, off, leave it, sit, down, kennel, load, do your business, and we are working on stay,
Ballen is kennel trained and travels in the car well. He is a very loving and loyal companion and will climb in your lap if you let him.
Both Ballen and Jocko have had preliminary service training, and while they weren't suitable to to be official service animals, they have a great foundation and are smart, fast learners."
